The second workshop between the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organisation (NEDO), held on 26 March 2025 in Kobe (Japan), brought together experts from the EU and Japan. This highly productive workshop focused on the future of hydrogen and ammonia combustion technologies.

Our project was represented by Vasileios Stefanis (Ansaldo Energia) and Andrea Gruber (SINTEF). Other projects that were involved included our sister projects Helios, HyPowerGT, InsigH2t, and furthermore H2AL, ACHIEVE, and HyCoFlex.

The key event’s highlights included

  • The above H2-related EU-funded projects presentations
  • Diverse participation from leading European and Japanese companies
  • Shared commitment to achieving 100% clean hydrogen combustion capability
  • Identification of common challenges with potential for R&D cooperation
